The latter is a 182-acre park outside of which lies a complex of archeological sites that include royal fishponds and temple platforms. It is interesting to note that the restored temple served as the burial site of King Kanehameha I’s ancestor. You may opt for a self-guided tour along the royal grounds. It is also a place where you can find onu (turtles) swimming in the royal fishpond.
